Southampton Western Docks
I believe this is a telephoto shot from Town Quay. We are out at 14 years post event and Geograph hadn't been invented. I'd only just got my first computer with something like a 100MB. Camera was a rock solid Canon F1N and film was fuji colour slide. How things change.
The "great white whale" aka SS Canberra is also no more. I had the immense privilege of an engine room visit the day Princess Di died and with only a month to go before she was withdrawn.
I hope this brings happy memories for some of you. I'm not sure whether we've had Canberra on here before.
