This timber frame mock 'Wealden Hall' house was built in 2003. It was built in replacement of the ugly 1970s bungalow which can be seen here Link.
Wealden Hall Houses
Wealden Hall Houses were timber framed farmhouses built by wealthy Yeoman farmers from the late 1300's to the mid 1500's (late Mediaeval to Tudor times). Originating in the South East, in the Weald of Kent and Sussex, they spread to other Southern counties around England.
