Located near the harbour in St Dogmaels is this beautiful wooden sculpture.

A note tacked to the sculpture refers to the local Peregrine Legend (dated around 1789) which involved a mermaid rescuing a local seaman.

No identification plaque explaining when it was erected or who was the sculptor.
