St Benedict's church

St Benedict's church > Link is located close by the River Bure and has its own staithe > Link. The building dates from the 13th century, with the tower added in the 14th century, but was extensively restored in Victorian times. The narrow priest's door > Link has survived but the north aisle, the former arcades of which can still be seen outlined in the wall > Link - was demolished in the 18th century.
