SS7603 : Old-fashioned landscape

Old-fashioned landscape
Old ways still flourish occasionally in Devon. To be honest I don't know why the system of sheaves, stooks and stacks is still being used here. If anybody knows maybe they could let me know. I thought somebody could use this as a header or footer for relevant coursework... who knows! This could be seen from the train between Copplestone and Morchard Road Stations on the Tarka Line.
