NJ0805 : River Avon

taken 23 years ago, near to Cnap an Dòbhrain [hill or Mountain], Moray, Great Britain

River Avon.
River Avon.
Even here with the river already quite large, the glen floor is almost 600m above sea level. The glen is open now, there are no high hills to the north and Beinn a' Bhuird to the south is set a long way back. It's still pink granite country. Looking upstream towards Beinn a Chaorainn.
