The saltmarshes and salty pools adjacent to Wharton Sands in Morecambe Bay are the feeding grounds for a whole host of wading birds and ducks. The birds just about visible in the centre of the picture are a mixed flock of black-tailed godwits and lapwings. Picture taken from SD47646 73375.
