Road and River Bank Repairs at Oughtibridge

In June 2007 there were two 'Road Slippages' on the A6102, caused by heavy rain. The biggest was south of Oughtibridge and pictures recording this are on Geograph. The other slippage was less severe but has involved one carriageway being closed completely and traffic lights controlling the other. Repairs started in July 2008 - yes, 13 months later - and are scheduled to go on for some months.
