Kings Mills from the north bank of the River Trent
Kings Mills is a former ferry point which enabled locals to travel from Weston-on-Trent on the north bank to Castle Donington on the south bank. The building is the Priest House Hotel. Herons and terns are often seen fishing at this peaceful spot.
