Looking NNW from the Inn at Whitewell. SD6547 : Burholme Bridge can just be made out beyond the large tree on the right. The Forest of Bowland Fells on the horizon rise to an impressive 496 metres above sea level (Totridge in SD6348). The nearest hill in the photograph is Mellor Knoll SD6449 at a mere 344 metres.
