Waverley Abbey, Farnham
Waverley Abbey, Farnham
This was the first Cistercian monastery in England, founded in 1128. The ruins are mostly of 13C buildings, of which the cellarium with its vaulting, to the right in the photo, looks the most interesting. This view is from the north.
