Norman and 13th century tower, Decorated nave and a chancel by Pearson in 1891. Fledborough is a tiny hamlet at the end of a lane by the Trent, but was once known as 'the Gretna Green of Nottinghamshire' when the Reverend Sweetapple performed marriage ceremonies for all who asked.
