Open moorland west of Jugger Howe beck
A patchwork of Bell Heather (Erica cinerea - dark pink), Cross-leaved Heath (E. tetralix - pale pink, at left hand edge) and Heather/Ling (Calluna - not yet in flower). It looks like a natural 'wilderness', but is actually highly managed - through burning and sheep-farming.
