SE2937 : Mound, Carr Manor Field

taken 12 years ago, near to Chapel Allerton, Leeds, Great Britain

Mound, Carr Manor Field
Mound, Carr Manor Field
Situated at the South Western end of the field. I heard that this mound is the burial place of some of the dead who perished in a minor skirmish during the civil war - given the rather grand title of Battle of Meanwood Valley.
