Original church sited here in 1146, throughout the centuries major reconstruction has taken place, mainly in the 16th century.The bell tower houses two bells dated 1621. unfortunately the bell frames are unsafe & a peal has not been heard for many years. The clock however, is regularly wound & keeps fairly good time.
