Bliss Gate Inn, Heightington Road

At present this inn is closed. Back in 2004 there was an application to demolish it and build houses on the site. It was rejected as it was against the policies of the Wyre Forest District Council. In early 2007 the Council approved an application to build two houses on the inn's car park but on condition that the inn was retained as a public house. To the left of the inn can be seen two new houses which presumably are those allowed by the planning permission.
