Fishermen River Tweed
Salmon fishing in the River Tweed at Berwick upon Tweed. The same process of sweep netting has been used for many years. The net is spread by a boat, called a coble. Then the net is pulled in by hand while the fishermen are standing on a small island exposed at low tide.
