Newport Guildhall
Newport's Guildhall is a Grade 11 listed building. It consists of two buildings which date from late 15th and early 16th century. They seem to have been planned as two separate buildings and joined up at a later date. The main hall/booth hall on the left was a medieval open hall and has very fine quatrefoil windbraces. The Guildhall was restored in the early 1990's and reopened in 1995 as Newport town council offices.
