Ravenscraig Castle
Built by King James II this was the first castle in Scotland to be built to withstand cannon. Walls are 14feet thick and it has a sloping roof. It features in Sir Walter Scott's , 'Lay of the Last Minstrel', and from where Rosabelle left to cross the Forth but was drowned.
