The only trace of pre-1970's shop architecture in Fitzroy Street is the former Laurie & McConnal store. It was built in 1903 after the previous incarnation was burnt down. More recently it was Habitat, and now it is to become HaGA. Who they? See TL4558 : Look what's coming!.
