NG7742 : Avoiding Midges

taken 13 years ago, near to Loch Dithreabn na Cuileige [water Feature], Highland, Great Britain

Avoiding Midges
Avoiding Midges
Camp on the Bealach na Ba road. Up here at 620m in a successful attempt to avoid the swarms of biting insects that plague the Highlands each summer. They are still here, but not so persistent.
Ground is typical Torridonian, sandstone and thin peaty soils.
