ND2148 : Mill Lade at Kensary

3 km from Badlipster, Highland, Great Britain

Mill Lade at Kensary
Mill Lade at Kensary
This lade was excavated through the peat to feed a water-powered threshing mill at the nearby farm of Kensary. The dubh lochan in the distance provided a natural reservoir. The lade existed in 1907 but might have been constructed some years earlier.
