SE3457 : Viaduct, Knaresborough
near to Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Viaduct, Knaresborough
This fine viaduct carries the railway across the River Nidd. According to an 1854 map this line was the York, Knaresborough and Harrogate branch line of the North Eastern Railway, so the viaduct dates from at least as early as this. Note the castellated turrets which adorn the top of this structure.
