A panoramic view of the southern side of the magnificent Norman minster of St. Mary in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. A daughter church to the minster of York it was the burial place of several mediæval Archbishops of York, though the only tomb that survives of these prelates is that of Edwin Sandys who died in 1588.
