Upper Thames Sailing Club
The building on the north shore is that of the Upper Thames Sailing Club. Although this is really mid Thames, I suppose the reasoning is that this is one of the highest points of the river where it is possible to sail, as opposed to row, scull, drift etc.
The tug heading upstream is Barking, built as a motor tug for Faversham Gas Works in 1928 but since converted to steam.
