The upper reaches of the River Sligachan cross the almost level floor of this part of the coire. The view beyond to the Cuillin Ridge shows a mirror image of the more frequently seen view from Sligachan - NG4829 : Northern Cuillin from Sligachan with Sgurr a' Fionn Choire, Am Basteir and Sgurr nan Gillean in the centre.
