Turbine Tower section delivery to Scout Moor

On Saturday the 31st of May 2008 the last of the twenty six turbine towers was
delivered to the Scout Moor Wind Farm construction site.
These two sections seen here making there way up the steep hill around the hairpin bend up on to the moor were to become Turbine No 17 which was constructed during the first week of June 2008.
It was almost 6 months to the day since the very first tower sections were delivered back in November 2007 Link
