SU4224 : Footpath from Hursley to Ampfield

taken 16 years ago, near to Hursley, Hampshire, England

Footpath from Hursley to Ampfield
Footpath from Hursley to Ampfield
Part of The Monarch's Way. An avenue of alternating Oak and Aspen trees has been planted. Each has a pipe for watering the roots and from the nature of the supports I would guess that the trees were several years old when planted so as to give an immediate effect. There is however a problem, see SU4224 : Trees in urgent need of rescue.
