Castle Fraser Obelisk
Not much information to be found about this obelisk, but it is thought that it was created from 4 smaller obelisks that graced the outdoor sweeping staircase to the original entrance door to Castle Fraser. When the entrance was moved and the staircase dismantled, it is believed that the 4 smaller obelisks were used to create this larger one which stands 20-25 feet high. It is situated on the brow of the hill and would have looked down to the castle.
Is anyone knows any more information on the obelisk please let me know!
