SH9150 : Erratic boulders
near to Glasfryn, Conwy, Great Britain

Erratic boulders
A pile of glacially-derived erratic boulders that have been dragged from this arable field. The wide valley that stretches East to West here was a major ice stream carrying material out of Snowdonial to lower altitude in the East. In the distance the commanding peak of Moel Prys dominates the valley.
