St. Peter's Church, Drayton Bassett
This church dates back to 1327 when Ralph Lord Bassett was licensed by the King - the recently crowned Edward III - to discharge a debt by building a church at Drayton. However, due to neglect the old church crumbled and was severely damaged by a storm in 1792. Most of the church required rebuilding, though part of the tower dates from this old church.
