The Pipe line supplying Cwm Dyli Hydro Power Station with water from Llyn Llydaw can be seen to the left of the picture, below the pipeline the circular features of an ancient settlement stands out because of the contrast against the snow. The dark rocky outcrop (centre right) is called Penllan.
