SO5631 : Site of Ballingham Station
near to Carey, Herefordshire, Great Britain

Site of Ballingham Station
There were initially two stations between Hereford and Ross on the Hereford, Ross & Gloucester Railway, Holme Lacy and Fawley. Ballingham and Backney Halt were added at a later date. The railway was closed in 1964. A private house now stands on the site, called appropriately, Station House. The platform can still be seen just beyond the house, viewed here from the old railway bridge.
