Clettwr in winter
Clettwr in winter
Large areas of Cors Fochno were drained in the late 18th and early 19th century to create farmland. The river Clettwr which ran into the bog was turned into a drain that runs between high banks straight from Craig-y-Penrhyn to the Dyfi.
