The Manchester and Salford Wesleyan Mission opened the building in 1910 and built in Yellow Burmantoft terracotta with the basement used for social work the ground floor as a lecture hall with classrooms and the upper hall had the capacity for 2000 it was one of the largest Methodist Halls in England,now converted into a pub!!
