        <description>The cargo ship 'Ice Prince' was sailing to Greece with a cargo of more than 5,000 tons of wood until sinking, 25 nautical miles south of Portland. The twenty man crew was rescued, but some of the timber they were transporting was lost to the sea. Much of it was washed up onto Worthing's beach.</description>
