More about me

I am a Research scientist with an interest in crystallography, corrosion, casting of metals and advanced materials (metal matrix composites). My main hobbies are astronomy, industrial archaeology, geology, literature (especially Robert Burns and Thomas Hardy) and Geograph lets me combine some of those with photography which has been given a huge boost since I got hooked on the site.
