Auchintaple Loch is accessed by a good track from the B road near Foulda. The short walk to the Loch begins with a steep climb and levels out shortly after. There are a couple of tall steps to climb to get over the deer fences. The only building is a boathouse on the West shore. Watch out for the beehives on the North shore. If you continue North from behind the boathouse, you will be rewarded with stunning mountain views.
