Born in the Midlands SP3268 then SP0228 and SP4871 (my Dad worked for a bank then), most of my life from the age of ten has been in Lancashire SD5065 and Yorkshire SE2954 and my own first home in SE2536. Briefly in Northumberland NU1812. After time in Cumbria SD1780, Suffolk TM0961 and TM1350 is a new and very different area of the country in which to live and work. Geograph-ing gives an excellent reason to explore the attractive countryside and villages in more depth.

I represent a Christian mission working in Eastern Europe. This invloves travelling to many evangelical churches across East Anglia and the South East. It is wonderful to have a real assurance that the God of creation knows and cares for all, and especially those who trust in Him.

Having always liked maps and the outdoors, geograph-ing is a great way of recording and sharing this enthusiasm. I just wish I had discovered the site sooner!

I use a Fuji FinePix E510, my first digital camera bought just over two years ago. The pictures rarely disappoint, and I am very happy with the purchase. Apart from cropping, I do "sharpen" by one degree on Picasa, and lighten dark pictures a little. Oh, and sometimes I do have to straighten the level. No other alterations are made.
