Born in SK3690 (but not at the Northern General Hospital).

Got a three month job in SK0394 which lasted 23 years during which I lived in SK0195, SK0393 and SK0295.
Then got a job here: SK4731 : Bothe Hall - Sawley by Tony Jacobs and a room down here SK5237 : Boundary Road, Beeston by David Lally.

Now living in SK4833 and working in SK5335.

Throughout all of those years I’ve totalled (in one two or three week stints) about a year and a half living in SV8708.

Came across the site when Googling for images of Corfe Castle.

The first geograph I saw that made me want to join was SK5133 : Attenborough Nature Reserve by Mick Garratt.

Any submissions taken before 2003 were by an Olympus OM1, in 2003 by a fuji finepix something-or-other, 2004 - April 2008 an Olympus C8080. On the 8th April I submitted my 1,000 image SK4835 : Bridge 7 and Dockholme lock gates by David Lally(not including 1 duplication and 1 self-rejected).
On the 9th took delivery of a Canon EOS 400D. Not used the Olympus since, though some submitted have been taken with a Canon PowerShot A470 bought at the same time as the EOS.
