The 11 thousand volt transformer to the left, the big grey finned thing, and the fuses board to the right. When the light around Singleton avenue go out watch out for the local engineers rushing in to sort things out. It is worth pointing out that it is pretty easy to get killed in these places as the conductors are not shielded. Touch one and flash bang, gone.text/html2012-03-13T23:33:08+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/19812Ed Lloyd-Hughes53.375151 -3.038619SJ3186 : Commemorative Plaque

Attack of the snowball flinging Elves at Waunfawr. Many casualties. 'Where are We Idris' about to put his specs back on his nose while 'Canadian Jim' goes in close and fierce. Names have been unchanged on Santa's instructions.text/html2012-03-12T12:03:13+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/19812Ed Lloyd-Hughes53.224301 -4.153508SH5671 : Porth Daniel dan eira

Taken from the inside of a small van driven with grim determination by Mr Steve Baines. Took us about 3 goes to get up to the old workings. We were there on official business with the approval of the company. Set against the churchyard wall is this 11kV electricity substation where in time past the hearse was kept. The plate on the door has the legend 'Ty Hers 10 7522 013'. 10 represents the district according to the old MANWEB designation, 7522 tells you that you are in that grid square and 013 is the substation number.text/html2012-03-11T11:34:26+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/19812Ed Lloyd-Hughes52.367847 -3.685913SN8575 : Blaen y Cwm
