The Noards looks like a small factory that is derelict. It's a stone and brick cottage once used by fishermen. A house was recorded on the site in 1623. It's on a very peaceful bend in the river Severn. The picture was taken from Waterend.

The railway line ran between Dudbridge and Stroud and is viewed from the Dudbridge End. Nowadays it's the best made bit of cycle track in Stroud, it's a pity the access is by a flight of stairs. The road bridge carries traffic between Dudbridge Hill and Dudbridge.

This lane runs between the A46 and Chavenage house. The hay has been harvested and is lying ready to be collected. This part of the Cotswolds is exposed and this road is one of the windiest. Historic maps show a windmill nearby.

The pair of white lines looking like a giant rugby goal are chimney stacks belonging to the Millikan factory, a wool cloth mill. The hill in the background is Rodborough Hill.
