Church Lane, Heckfield

Church Lane, Heckfield is a cul-de-sac for vehicles today, but this was formerly the main road until the 1970s, when a more direct bypass was established slightly to the east of the village but west of the old school. Church Lane was incorporated into the Heckfield Heath to Odiham branch of the Basingstoke to Hartford Bridge and Blackwater turnpike trust, around 1798.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
