George Street :: Shared Description
Running roughly West to East from Sturdee Place and High Street, George Street is a bustling pedestrianised cobbled street at the heart of Hastings Old Town.
The road contains a mixture of alternative shops, including antique shops, pubs and cafés, art and gift shops. There are very few high street brands.
Near the beginning of West end of George Street can be found an amusement arcade, and the entrance to the West Hill Lift, funicular railway.
