River Arun :: Shared Description
The Arun rises 120 metres above sea level at its source in St Leonard's Forest
near Horsham. It then runs 25 miles before reaching the sea at Littlehampton.
It's the second fastest flowing river in the country with a 'flashy' nature responsive to heavy rainfall.
The river is tidal as far inland as Pallingham Quay, 18.25 miles upstream from Littlehampton.

These Shared Descriptions
are common to multiple images. For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
