Shiels of Gartlea chambered cairn :: Shared Description

See LinkExternal link (at WoSAS) for further details. For some time, this cairn was thought to have been destroyed by quarrying; however, in 2002, Allan Park discovered that it had been left intact. It is given statutory protection under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979.
