Centenary Church, Gosberton Clough

The church is known as the centenary church, and has a stone slab bearing the date MCMXXXV - 1935. To the rear of the building is a schoolroom, also dating from 1935.

The name suggests a replacement for an earlier building, about which nothing is known.

There appears to be an active tradition of commemorative stones in the fabric of the church, rather than a graveyard around it. Some are quite recent.

The church is part of the South Holland circuit (Link

) and is quite separate from the larger church in nearby Gosberton. That was built as a Wesleyan chapel, this as Primitive Methodist.
