The Bulwarks, Carmarthen

Earthworks, dating from the Civil War [1644-5], and considered to be one of the best examples of earthen defences constructed according to 17C military thinking. The bastion, curtain and ditch are all that remain of fortifications that once encircled Carmarthen. They are transected by a footpath between Morfa Lane and Friars Park. About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
