Shieling hut :: Shared Description

This small dwelling would have been occupied in mid-summer, when herds were being pastured on high grazing land. The ruin is very similar, except in size, to nearby lime-kiln ruins. The identification as a lime-kiln is on the authority of the following report: LinkExternal link (at Canmore).
