station is on the Hastings line
. The line was opened in 1852, but the station was not built until 1902, when a branch line to Bexhill was built just south of the station. The branch line and most of the station buildings have been dismantled. The station has an hourly service to Hastings and London Charing Cross

These Shared Descriptions
are common to multiple images. For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
